There's not a solid empirical argument to be made that the T-Wolves are worse. The T-Wolves are amassing assets. They will get better through the draft, the addition of Rubio and Pekovic, and the development of Flynn, Brewer, Love, and Ellington. There's no evidence the Nets are getting better, other than the success of Brook Lopez. What other hope do they have once they realize that no one wants to sign on as a free agent for a team stuck in Newark for 2 more years? No one wants to jump on that shipwreck.
