Katie 70Cant get the graph to show up on IE 8 or Google Chrome. What browser should I be using?
Tom Haberstroh 71
I use Firefox, Katie. I find it ironic that Chrome doesn't like it.

This is fantastic. /hattip

I somehow didn't realize the value of watching PER vs. Age for different players. That's a must see.

"request timed out"//can't get it to load in firefox

Here's a good one. Put the same variable on both axes. You can watch KD shoot up the ranks of PER, or Steve Nash suddenly become an assist machine (A40) around 2003. Also, if you put age on both axes, you learn absolutely nothing.

Try reloading the page, that seems to work for me. It will take several seconds to load.

Awesome chart. Only recommendation is that Kevin Durant's node should be star-shaped rather than a circle.

Caught this on Basketball-Reference. It's fantastic! Any chance you could extend the data back to 1990? 1980?

One really fun graph - 3P% against 3PA - no correlation at all! Amazing, *amazing* tool, thanks!

I have the pleasure to brief on our Data Visualization software "Trend Compass". TC is a new concept in viewing statistics and trends in an animated way by displaying 5 axis (X, Y, Time, Bubble size & Bubble color) instead of just the traditional X and Y axis. It could be used in analysis, research, presentation etc. In the banking sector, we have Deutsche Bank New York as our client. So many ideas are there. You can download a trial version. It has a feature to export EXE,PPS,HTML and AVI files. The most impressive is the AVI since you can record Audio/Video for the charts you create. http://epicsyst.com/trendcompass/FreeVersion/TrendCompassv1.2_DotNet.zip
